Social Media Community Coordinator – Pedestrian TV

Brandalism is looking for a Community Coordinator to join our team of passionate and hardworking Digital Content Marketers. We are looking for an experienced social media individual with excellent communication skills and the motivation to learn and develop their skills within the role and agency!

This is a contracted job, 5 days a week as of mid-January 2021. An opportunity for the right candidate to join the team in a permanent, full-time role during the year.

Basic tasks:

  • To interact with our customers’ social media audiences by responding to comments and direct messages and responding to tagged content in line with the customer’s FAQ documents and the customer’s social brand identity. This includes troubleshooting, internal escalation, and assistance with customer issues as they arise.
  • To use listening tools to track, monitor and analyze conversations, keywords, and mentions about key customers, their competitors, and their industry across social and other media, including print.
  • To provide and deliver weekly reports of snippets and statistics to customers regarding brand name tracking and product mentions when it comes to social listening.
  • Implement social media growth activities including proactive engagement (following tactic), hashtag strategies and other growth tactics across client accounts.
  • To publish and schedule posts/stories weekly, using a social media scheduling platform like Sprout Social to do so
  • To keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers in the industry and to suggest ideas on how to further develop our efforts
  • Assistance with other marketing requirements if required. This can include researching relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience and users for upcoming projects or reports

  • You have exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with constant attention to detail
  • Never stable situation, with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Ability to think critically and extract marketing insights from data, and make actionable suggestions for improving public relations efforts
  • Social Media Expert – Ability to navigate multiple digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
  • You care deeply about the end consumer and when it comes to community management, you appreciate that we are here to help

Experience and education

  • Ideally, you have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or work (internship experience acceptable)
  • University qualifications in a related field such as marketing, public relations or communications
  • G-suite experience
